Originally billed as a "frontier exhibition of picturesque pastimes, Indian and military spectacles, cowboy racing and bronco busting for the championship of the Northwest."
September 29, 1910 the first show brought 7,000 people, all the store closed and the Pendleton Round-Up was born.
Needless to say it is that and so much more!  This is one of the "must see" rodeos in North America (right up there with Calgary Stampede and Cheyenne Frontier Days)
